The battery is a water tank.

Like the water tank at home: in the day the sun fills it, at night you use what's inside. When it runs low, the sun fills it again the next day.

What is 1 unit?

The same as a “unit” on your TNB bill (1 kWh).

A 1000 W kettle boiling for 1 hour = 1 unit.

Figures are planning examples based on a Selangor average of 3.2 kWh per kWp per day. Real output changes with weather, shade and roof direction. Final system and price confirmed after a site visit.

It starts with a load survey

Before sizing anything we list what you want to run. Starting loads matter too: pumps, compressors and air-conditioners draw a surge when they start, and the inverter has to handle it.

Your own list replaces these example values. If you don't know the wattage, a photo of each appliance's label is enough.

Planning for rainy days and backup

Several low-sun days in a row are normal during Malaysia's monsoon seasons. An off-grid system has to be planned for them, not just for sunny days.

We discuss with you how many days the battery should cover, whether a generator should back it up, and which loads can be reduced during long cloudy spells. More autonomy means a bigger battery and higher cost — we set out the options so you can choose.

What we need to prepare a proposal

You don't need all of this to start — send what you have and we'll ask for the rest.

Site location (town / area, and whether access is by road, boat, etc.)
Current power situation: no power, generator, grid with outages, or grid
List of equipment you want to run, with power ratings (watts) if known
Hours of use for each item, and whether it runs in the day or at night
How long backup should last during outages or cloudy periods
Where the panels and equipment could go — photos of the roof or ground area help
Budget range (optional) and any plans to add loads later
